Message from the Denkers:

Cindy and I have developed a strong desire to do ministry in Ethiopia. My previous trip there helped to flame a passion in us for the Ethiopian people. I had the opportunity to preach in several small churches and to teach several sessions in a Bible conference designed to encourage and inspire Ethiopian church leaders. I saw many opportunities there for ministry and missions.

Also, for the past three years Cindy and I have had an Ethiopian college student living with us in our home. Mikias has taught us many things about the culture and condition of life in Ethiopia. This has also contributed to our desire to be useful to the people and churches there.

It is our hope to spend some part of each year traveling there to do ministry. We would love to have your help and support.

The missionary organization we are working with, Indigenous Outreach International is based out of my church in Jackson, Tennessee. The director,Patrick Beard, is a member of my church and has been a good friend of mine for many years. Originally IOI was founded to provide financial support to Ethiopian ministers so that they could spend more of their time doing evangelism and church planting.
